We’ve paired it with new 7 for All Mankind flared jeans – can we pause for a sec and talk about the wash on this denim? It’s so nice, with just a hint of distressing – love. Finish it off with some wedges, like this color-threaded pair by Jessica Simpson. Outfit recap: boho blouse + flares + wedges = happiness. Even when school’s back in session, having this outfit in your closet will make you feel like it’s still summer.

Just Around the Corner…

It may be getting hotter outside, but we all know that swimsuit-with-shorts weather won’t last forever. So, while you’re running around having fun, remember to look for inspiration to build your fall wardrobe. This outfit was inspired by a summer sunset – bright color on the bottom with a pale blue on top!

We’re not thinking just about fall though – we love pieces that can be worn now and later. As a whole, this outfit is better for mid-late September weather here in the Mid South. By themselves, each piece can be worn now. These cute paprika DL1961 jeans go great with a variety of summer tops, like the easy cream tank we layered with the 7 for All Mankind chambray blouse. Take the blouse and put it with cute shorts, or a swishy summer skirt. And sandals – well, those you should wear with pretty much everything. (You can’t tell from the photo, but they sparkle!)

Loving the Simple Life

This striped dress from Tea Collection is simply summer, like a glass of iced lemonade. And just like our favorite summer beverage, you can dress it up with some accessories. Do you like watermelon with your lemonade? It’s just like putting a melon-colored pompom headband with this dress – sweet! And of course, you should always put your glass on a coaster, I mean feet in shoes. These easy Correa sandals from TOMS match the breezy style of this outfit perfectly. I’m a little jealous of how deliciously cute your summer’s going to be!

What to Wear for the West of the Summer

Do your summer plans include Northern California, the open plains of Montana, or glamping? Here’s your outfit guide!

Step one: Find an awesome top. We like this brand new tie-dye tee from Haven Girl. It has long sleeves for surprisingly chilly nights around the campfire, and extra sparkle just because.

Step two: Add cute shorts. We picked these rolled-cuff shorts from 7forAllMankind. The hint of distressing goes perfectly with the dyed finish on the tee, and the length helps keep you cool in summer temperatures.

Step three: Put on your cowgirl boots. Our genuine leather boots from Smoky Moutain have a real riding heel – perfect for trying that new pony trail. Plus, the stitching is adorable. You’ll want to wear them with everything.

What can we say? The bohemian look is one of our favorite summer styles! This new top from Roxy has a cold shoulder detail and goes great with denim of all colors. Since it gets pretty hot here, we suggest some shorts and these TOMS Correa sandals. But if you prefer long pants, do a cute chunky cuff, which will still show off the cute ankle strap.

We just got in a cute shipment of Roxy Girl clothes for summer, and it is too cute! We love this blue and orange mixed-print dress. It has a kaleidoscope medallion print as well as blue tonal stripes. We love how it looks with this hot pink and orange sandal from Nina. Made with a comfy knit jersey, this is a perfect dress for all sorts of summer events. (It even has pockets!)
