Summer is a great time of the year. Carry the spirit of summer freedom into your fall wardrobe with bohemian-inspired styles. We love this new cold shoulder peasant top from Roxy Girl. We’ve paired it with new 7 for All Mankind flared jeans – can we pause for a sec and talk about the wash on this denim? It’s so nice, with just a hint of distressing – love. Finish it off with some wedges, like this color-threaded pair by Jessica Simpson. Outfit recap: boho blouse + flares + wedges = happiness. Even when school’s back in session, having this outfit in your closet will make you feel like it’s still summer.

What to Wear for the West of the Summer
Do your summer plans include Northern California, the open plains of Montana, or glamping? Here’s your outfit guide!
Step one: Find an awesome top. We like this brand new tie-dye tee from Haven Girl. It has long sleeves for surprisingly chilly nights around the campfire, and extra sparkle just because.
Step two: Add cute shorts. We picked these rolled-cuff shorts from 7forAllMankind. The hint of distressing goes perfectly with the dyed finish on the tee, and the length helps keep you cool in summer temperatures.
Step three: Put on your cowgirl boots. Our genuine leather boots from Smoky Moutain have a real riding heel – perfect for trying that new pony trail. Plus, the stitching is adorable. You’ll want to wear them with everything.
What to Wear: Saturday
The weather this weekend is simply divine! We know just what to throw on so you can run around town and enjoy the sun! Start with an easy knit dress with cute details, like the combination of crocheted lace and embroidery on this navy Splendid dress. Then add your favorite wedges – we love the rainbow thread woven into the raffia on these strappy Jessica Simpsons. Finally, grab a cute bag for all your weekend necessities. We recommend hitting your favorite park, Sweet Noshings at Overton Square, and, of course, Sachi!

Movie Time: Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Ok, gals. If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to set up a movie date with “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” It’s classy and a little heart-wrenching, but we’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do. After all, Audrey Hepburn + cat named Cat + fashion all over = feature film fave. So grab some croissants, a couple of friends, your choice of yummy beverage (frothy hot chocolate, anyone? ok, we’ll settle for a frappuccino if it’s afternoon), and enjoy.
And once you’ve memorized all the words to “Moon River,” it will be time for a shopping trip. Plenty of fashionable ladies have been inspired by this classic film and you can be too! Some go for directly copying Audrey’s on-screen looks, but we prefer to capture the essence while adding some youthful updates. Below, we’ve paired an adorable pleated Ella Moss tank with a Flowers by Zoe lace skirt, using fashion’s most timeless palette: black and white. Every girl needs a little sparkle (even if it’s not from Tiffany’s), so we’ve added some black and pink bangles by Bari Lynn. Our heeled Nina sandals will have you standing tall while this handy and classic Vera Bradley cross-body will help keep you all together. Put your hair in a topknot, grab your best big shades and head out on the town!

Some Things Never Change
Whether playing on the beach or in a field, you’ll be very cute in this outfit inspired by American traditions like cotton and denim. Easy knit shorts in a denim-look from Tea Collection pair perfectly with this breezy woven top from Mimi & Maggie. The cream embroidery at the neckline is just the right girly touch without going overboard. Try Toms’ lace-up paseo shoes in natural burlap as a cute tennis shoe alternative. They stay on your feet, and you can wear them with or without socks. Finish the look with double french braids. Photo op: weave thin ribbons or small flowers into your braids if sitting for a portrait.
